General Information
The city of  Patu is located in the Potiguar Western Region and has as its principle tourist attraction the fact of being one of the best places in the world to practice hang gliding and paragliding , since  it offers ideal flight conditions – national records were won in this region. The city, with a little more than 11 thousand inhabitants , also has a strong religious tradition and receives , every month , in the month of November, hundreds of pilgrims that visit the  Santuário do Lima, one of the largest pilgramages in the Northeast, in devotion to Nossa Senhora dos Impossíveis.  Another attraction for the tourist is the handicraft of embroidery and paintings on canvas.

How to arrive there Distance from  Natal: 362 km. 

Leave  Natal by BR-304 to Assu, from there take  RN-233 to Caraúbas, from there pick up RN-117 to  Martins, going past  Umarizal.
