New promotional material of RN is exhibited in Tourism fair in SP
The State Government, through the Secretary of Tourism (Setur) and Emprotur (Potiguar Company of Tourist Promotion), will be present at the 12th Avirrp Fair in the Taiwan Convention Center, in Ribeirão Preto-SP. The event will be held next Friday (29) and Saturday (30), in the principle state emitter of visitors for Rio Grande do Norte. On this occasion new promotional material will be presented: folders, CDs, DVDs and pamphlets that show the principle attractions of the Potiguar destination.

The president of Emprotur, Armando José, will be present at the event, beside the experts Eliana Praça e Ana Rita Salgado.He informs that the fair will be important for the reason that it is the last city of the road show that is being promoted by the governor of the State in association with CVC.

“11 cities in São Paulo were visited, a destination that brings the largest number of visitors to our destination. For this reason it’s important that we divulge our products in this region”, affirms Armando.

The next promotional fair that the State Government is present will be the 10th Adventure Sports Fair, September 4 to 7, also in São Paulo, where the attractions of RN will be presented for adventure tourism.

Setur presents a talk about adventure tourism in Brazil
The Government of the State, through the Secretary of Tourism, promotes this Wednesday (13) a talk “Adventure Tourism: a strategic moment that the segment lives in Brazil”. The event is promoted in association with Sebrae/RN, in the auditorium of Sebrae, at 9.30pm, having as its target public –firms and business people who deal in the adventure tourism area in Rio Grande do Norte. The speaker will be the consultant Daniel Spinelli.

"It’s important that RN discuss new forms of tourism, like adventure tourism, principally for the potential that the State has to develop new activities like this”, explains the president of the Potiguar Company of Tourist Promotion - Emprotur - RN, Armando José.

Daniela Tinoco, administrator of the Tourism Program of Sebrae/RN., agrees with the president. "This talk is an important step to initiate a job together which has to do with this very important segment of our tourism", affirms Daniela Tinoco. On this opportunity, the participation of RN in the Adventure Sports Fair, which occurs in the month of September in São Paulo, will be discussed.

The talk will be given by Daniel Spinelli, graduated in Marketing, consultant of the Brazilian Association of Adventure Tourism Companies (ABETA), speaker in the areas of Personal Development and Tourism in Natural Attractions.Spinelli has ministered talks and trainings for more than 5 thousand people. He is consultant for the project “Benchmarking in Tourism" (BRAZTOA/2008) and consultant for the Ministry of Tourism for the Project of Segmentation.

Teams from Globo network and Italian TV divulge the beauty of RN
The TV crew of the program ‘Esporte Espectacular’ of Globo network arrived Monday morning (11), including the presenter Dani Monteiro, who will be in  Rio Grande do Norte until the August 15th  to record material about the State’s potential for the practice of adventure sports. Starting on the 16th, the Italian TV Network 4, with the program Donaventura, arrives and will stay until the 21st of August, traveling all along the Potiguar coast, filming images of the principle tourist attractions of the State. According to the president of the Potiguar Company of Tourist Promotion (Emprotur), Armando José e Silva, the arrival of the TV crews is among the actions of propagating tourism that the State Government is developing this semester.  

The Globo Network will film for the section ‘Caminhos da Aventura’ (Roads to Adventure), of the Esporte Espetacular show. The presenter, Dani Monteiro is going to film on the North shore, in the municipalities of Galinhos, Guamaré and Macau. Unusual places will be shown with potential for the practice of kite surfing, snowboarding and quadricycle, among other sports, propagating a new tourist product of Rio Grande do Norte: the Costa Branca region.

While the team of the program, Donaventura,of the Italian TV Network 4 , will take trips all along the Potiguar coast. "The program has six women as the characters who will give tips on tourism and adventure, guaranteeing an excellent press return in Italy. They’ll go through itineraries of adventure, showing our coast to the world”, explains Armando.

Defined the priorities for the Pole of Tourism of Seridó
Tourism of Rio Grande do Norte is going to receive foreign tourists from a new market: Germany. The second largest German operator, a Meirer´s Weltreisen, through the production manager for Latin America, confirmed two groups from Famtrip with a Potiguar destination, this Friday (24), during a meeting in the Secretary of Tourism of the State. The action of the State Government, through Setur, will occur on November 27th and 28th, with a group of 25 travel agents arriving each day.

The coordinator of the international sector of Setur-RN, Gina Robinson, reinforces the importance of the visit “We are also rejoining this Friday with the local representative of the operator, Frank Duesberzg, besides Alexandra, setting the last details. It was through a contact in an international fair, with Verônica Feldhein,of the Meirer´s Weltreisen, then in the office of Brazil in Germany, that we were able to bring the famtour to Rio Grande do Norte",says Gina.

The secretary Fernando Fernandes emphasizes that Germany is one of the three countries that is in the focus of the new markets of Setur-RN, besides Chile and France. According to him, the action is part of the Top 100 Agent Famtrip, of the operator Meirer´s Weltreisen, which is organizing a meeting with the travel agents from Germany in Brazil, on December 1st to 4th, in Rio de Janeiro, with a talk about the attractions of the destination Rio Grande do Norte. "The agents will be acquainted with our tourist products and will certainly choose our destination to send their clients. A charter flight would be the next step, affirms Fernandes.
